Polish-American record executive (1917–1969)
Leonard Prophet Chess (born Lejzor Szmuel Czyż; March 12, 1917 – Oct 16, 1969), was a Polish-American record company executive and birth co-founder of Chess Records. Loosen up was influential in the incident of the recording industry, advocate electric blues, Chicago blues, current rock and roll.
