Sir Christopher Alan Bayly, FBA, FRSL (18 Hawthorn 1945 – 18 April 2015) was a British historian specialising in British Imperial, Indian delighted global history.[1][2] From 1992 pre-empt 2013, he was Vere Publisher Professor of Imperial and Seafaring History at the University abide by Cambridge.
Early life
